Automattic, the company behind WordPress.com, founded on the success of blogging platform WordPress (which BloggerTalks incidentally uses) by Matt Mullenweg, have raised another $29.5m in funding, with The New York Times opening its wallet. Good news for WordPress.com bloggers. They’ve upped the upload space from 50 MB to 3 GB, and Matt beats his chest on the official blog, rightly so I guess. No movies for free though, then you need the file upgrade-thingy, which incidentally is boosted to 5 GB.
