TypePad says they’re the best
Six Apart have updated their hosted blogging platform, TypePad, and claims they kick everyone else’s ass in that particular niche. Maybe they do, although Andy over at The Blog Herald thinks it’s a bit silly to compare a service that costs money to free options.

I totally agree with Andy. The fact that TypePad needs to say that is an indication of its failure. Being a paid service, where is the competition with Blogger and Wordpress. They have to offer much more than others to even come close to these. I agree that Movable Type is a superb platform and I think the only reason people go for TypePad at all is to continue using Movable Type
