Openads to offer hosted ads

Darren over at ProBlogger points to an announcement by free ad managing software, Openads, formerly known as PhpAdsNew. It seems that they’ve secured funding, and plan on offering hosted ad solutions for free. Certainly something for bloggers and online publishers overall to consider, given that managing an Openads installation is pretty time consuming. Openads is probably the biggest ad system out there, but unfortunately it’s pretty clunky to work with, so here’s hoping they’ll spend some of that money making it a little easier on the users.
